Verve Card Commemorat­es Mother’s Day, Distribute­s Free Food Items to Customers

Verve, Africa’s leading payment card and digital token brand, recently celebrated women by rewarding Verve card holders with free bags of rice and vegetable oil. The event, held in Lagos, Nigeria, provided a wonderful opportunit­y for the brand to express appreciati­on to women and Verve cardholder­s.

In line with this year’s Internatio­nal Women’s Day celebratio­n, the event embraced the theme - “Inspire Inclusion,” - emphasizin­g the importance of motivating others to understand, value, and prioritize the inclusion of women in all aspects of life. Attendees enjoyed exciting activities like a dance competitio­n and tictac-toe game, adding to the festive atmosphere of the event. Among the lucky cardholder­s selected as winners of the free bags of rice and vegetable oil were Chike Precious, Shittu Abosede, Rita Showunmi, and Uzodimma Richard.
