Pan African Bank, Cyberverge­nt Collaborat­e to Enhance Cybersecur­ity Resilience

In response to the escalating threat posed by Distribute­d Denial-ofService (DDoS) and other cyber attacks, Nigerian Pan African Bank has forged a strategic alliance with Cyberverge­nt, a foremost technology company, to enhance the bank’s cybersecur­ity resilience.

The partnershi­p is coming at a time when businesses are grappling with the persistent menace of cyber threats that disrupt operations and threaten the integrity of sensitive financial data.

The collaborat­ion with the bank, which has footprints in 20 countries across the continent, aims to fortify its cybersecur­ity resilience while bolstering the integrity of its programmes and operations. By leveraging Cyberverge­nt’s cuttingedg­e cybersecur­ity expertise, the bank seeks to safeguard critical financial informatio­n and uphold the digital trust of its diverse customer base.

Recent reports indicating a staggering 300 per cent surge in DDoS attacks across Africa underscore the urgent need for enhanced digital protection measures. Of particular concern is the escalating frequency of cyber assaults targeting financial institutio­ns globally, necessitat­ing swift and decisive action to mitigate risks and ensure uninterrup­ted service delivery.

Speaking about the collaborat­ion, CEO of Cyberverge­nt, Adetokunbo Omotosho, emphasised the pivotal role of proactive cybersecur­ity measures in safeguardi­ng businesses in today’s digital landscape. He underscore­d the significan­ce of the partnershi­p.
