Gospel Music Minster, Chuks Uche to Release New Song, Plans Big for 2024

- Chuks Uche

Delta State born, Chuks Uche, is a gifted gospel minister, renowned for his anointed musical ministry that ushers in the presence of God whenever he takes the stage. Notably, he has graced platforms alongside esteemed gospel artists such as Mercy Chinwo, Chioma Jesus, Bidemi Olaoba, Peterson Okopi, and many others.

His passion for music grew as he witnessed the joy and connection it brought to congregants during worship sessions. Upon moving to Lagos from Benin City in 2010, he was inspired by seeing artists his age succeeding on television, which motivated him to start writing his own songs and pursue music wholeheartedly. Since his emergence in the gospel music scene, he has nurtured his craft, specialising in several genres, including highlife praise, afrobeat praise, as well as worship and worship-infused praise. Speaking about the exact point he realised music was his calling, he expressed that, “The realisation dawned on me as I observed fellow musicians thriving on stage and felt a deep resonance with the craft. This ignited my determination to pursue music as my life’s purpose, leading me to compose my own songs and embrace my musical journey fully.” Steering the next quarter of 2024 on great heights, Uche is set to drop his upcoming single, “NA YOU,” which is a worship medley slated for release on April 12, 2024 and would be accompanied by a music video. The medley comprises three powerful worship songs infused with pidgin English and Igbo dialect. With a deep conviction that the songs will touch hearts nationwide, Chuks anticipates its availability for download and streaming on various digital platforms.

On what his plans for the rest of the year would be he noted that, “I’m working on releasing another medley of lively praise and worship songs, designed to captivate audiences and resonate across the internet. I would also desire to collaborate with esteemed colleagues in the industry, all while remaining steadfast in my faith for continued health and inspiration from above.”
