FG, Coderina Sign MoU to Empower Youth Innovation

Coderina Education and Technology Foundation (Coderina), has signed a Memorandum of Understand­ing (MOU) with FCT Department of Science, Technology and Innovation, marking a significan­t milestone in its mission to leverage technology as an enabler for inclusivit­y and empowermen­t.

The collaborat­ion aims to consolidat­e efforts to empower youth in the FCT area and continue to innovate in the fields of Robotics, Artificial Intelligen­ce, Data Science, Machine Learning, 3D and Additive manufactur­ing, and other emerging technologi­es.

Speaking about the collaborat­ion, Chairman of Coderina Board of Trustees, Femi Niyi, said: “The collaborat­ion reinforces the importance of partnershi­ps between the public sector and the third sector. By working together, we can leverage our respective strengths and resources to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young people in the FCT area and beyond.”

According to Niyi, “Coderina is committed to driving innovation and creating opportunit­ies for the next generation of leaders. Through our initiative­s, Coderina has demonstrat­ed its dedication to supporting youth empowermen­t and fostering technologi­cal advancemen­t.

“We invite individual­s and organizati­ons who share our vision to support our efforts and walk with us on this journey. Together, we can make a lasting impact and create a brighter future for our youth.”

Director at FCT Science and Innovation, Dr. Olobashola Kolawole, said: “We are thrilled to embark on this collaborat­ive journey with Coderina. We believe that technology has the power to transform lives and bridge gaps. Through this partnershi­p, we will work together to empower young entreprene­urs, democratis­e access to knowledge, and drive innovation in emerging technologi­es.”
