Africa Reinsurance Corporation Floats Golf for CEOs

In their desire to boost the physical and mental wellbeing of the Nigeria insurance industry executives as well as proffer a one stop shop networking opportunity, Africa Reinsurance Corporation, the leading pan African reinsurance company, is hosting a golf tournament for the industry CEOs.

The one-day tournament billed for the Golf Section of Ikoyi Club 1938 will hold on Friday, April 12th.

The event which is already generating lots of enthusiasm within the Nigeria insurance space is expected to attract over 100-golfers to the Course.

Speaking ahead of the tournament, the Regional Director of Africa Reinsurance, Anglophone West Africa, Temitope Akinowa reiterated the corporations core mission of fostering the development of the insurance and reinsurance industry in Africa. As part of fulfilling its mission, the CEOs golf tournament provides a rare opportunity for industry leaders to compete and exchange ideas in a more relaxed atmosphere.

The additional benefits derived from playing golf cannot be wished-away, abundant business opportunities, growth of social capital and win-win health benefits, she added. Further, the tournament will also serve as an opportunity for Africa Re led by its Group Managing Director, Corneille Karekezi to celebrate a major milestone achievement in 2023 as a one billion premium dollar company.

There are prizes to be won in different categories. The event has also attracted executives in other industries, including professional golfers from Ikoyi Club.
