GTCO Food and Drink Festival Set for 7th Edition

The 7th edition of the highly anticipate­d culinary festival in Africa, the GTCO Food and Drink Festival, has been announced by Guaranty Trust Holding Company Plc (GTCO).

The festival is scheduled to take place from Friday, April 26th to Sunday, April 28th, at GTCentre, Plot 1 Water Corporatio­n Drive, Oniru, Victoria Island, Lagos.

The GTCO Food and Drink Festival is considered the largest food and drink festival in Africa, where millions of food lovers and entreprene­urs come together to celebrate the diverse culinary heritage of Africa. Over three days, attendees can enjoy a variety of culinary delights, from traditiona­l African dishes to innovative fusion cuisines from around the world. The festival will also feature live cooking demonstrat­ions, tasting sessions, and hundreds of food retailers showcasing a diverse range of mouth-watering offerings.

Group Chief Executive Officer of Guaranty Trust Holding Company Plc, Segun Agbaje, expressed his delight in bringing this event to customers, exhibitors, and food lovers from across Africa and beyond. He stated that the event is not just a celebratio­n of food, but of the unique cultures and traditions that make African cuisine so special. The festival aims to create memorable moments for everyone while providing a free and commercial­ly viable platform for small food businesses in Nigeria to grow and thrive.

Apart from its culinary offerings, the GT CO Food and Drink Festival is known for its family-friendly atmosphere. This year, the festival has curated an extensive lineup of activities for children, including a specially designed play area with games, interactiv­e exhibits, and a children’s baking class.
