The Federal Government has said it will establish satellite industrial centres in the six geo-political zones after the passage of the 2017 budget.

The Managing Director, NEPZA, Mr Emmanuel Jime, told reporters in Lagos that the centres would be cardinal towards the diversification of the economy and the promotion of backward integration.

Jime said NEPZA has been directed to anchor the establishment of the centres.

He also said that the agency would do everything to put the country in the right direction with the diversification of the economy through manufacturing for domestic market and export.
