How ‘Change Begins with Me’ can work - Bashir Tofa

The presidential candidate of the defunct National Republican Convention (NRC), Alhaji Bashir Othman Tofa, has said that the societal re-orientation campaign of the federal government, ‘Change Begins with Me’, can only be successful if government and indeed Nigerians are sincere with the programme.

Speaking at the official launch of the programme in Kano, Tofa said the new campaign could only be successful if the change could be in people’s pockets rather than in those of a few politicians and officials.

He said the programme could work better if attention was paid to get people out of poverty.
