At least 3,000 local and foreign runners will compete in this year’s Silver label Okpekpe 10 kilometre Race billed for this morning in Edo State.

The IAAF recognised Race which is in its 6th edition is offering over N40million naira in cash prize for winners.

Past winners like Kenya’s Simon Cheprot and Polline Nwajiku are already in town and will be running for the winners cash prize of $20,000.

In our cover story this week, we preview this 46th IAAF label road race to be held this year following the staging of the IAAF Gold Label Volkswagen Prague Marathon in Praha, Czech Republic last Sunday,

We bring to you everything you need to know about this Race which will start from Apana road and end at Okpekpe in Edo State.
