This explains what is happening in our country. No one is ready to sacrifice for the other. Students and partially their parents have been at home since March, most of them without income. The proprietors only want to use the medium to recover what they had lost when the schools were shut. I would not blame them because they are taking after government. The Nigerian government increased the price of petroleum and electric tariff. How do they expect people with five children in such schools to afford such fees? Even before the lockdown, we lost a sizeable number of our customers. The internet has affected our business and the lockdown only increased and now who do you expect to buy a newspaper when people are struggling to make ends meet and put food on their tables.
