Exotic Kebab Fete to be held at The Yellow Chilli till July 31

An array of delectable kebab varieties await the food connoisseu­rs at The Yellow Chilli outlets in Muscat. Masterchef Sanjeev Kapoor has inspired this North Indian restaurant at Almouj Muscat and Panorama Mall, Bausher and has whipped up a scrumptiou­s platter with a selection of unique kebabs, till July 31, with special kebabs for lunch and dinner to tantalise your taste buds like never before.

The Kebab festival is all set to bring out the flavours of the Mughal era which will come alive, with the enticing smell of succulent kebabs with a rich aroma.

Tirthankar Basu, business head of Mazaya Oman, has urged everyone to come along with family or friends for a tempting tour to the world of aromatic flavours of age old traditiona­l Mughlai and Afghani cuisine that would create a tingling in your taste buds made from the secret recipes of the executive chef of The Yellow Chilli, Hannan Qureshi, with his wellchosen exotic spices and ingredient­s.

Chef Qureshi said, “Having worked with chef Kapoor and having experience­d food in multiple facets, it gives me immense pleasure to put forth something distinct for the Omani audience and I'm looking forward to showcase this unique collection of kebabs to all the food lovers of Oman.”

Restaurant manager Kalyan Bose added that the item not to be missed on the menu is the authentic Badami Murgh Seekh, minced chicken flavoured with Indian spices and garnished with almond flakes.

The mouth-watering delicacies include vegetable kebabs like Paneer Parmesan Tikka, Gul Mohar Kabab, Subz Shikhampur­i Kabab, Gajjar Mutter Ki Tikki, Murgh Lehsuni Tikka, Badami Murgh, Achari Mahi Tikka, Sunheri Jhinga and Burhani Tawa, all at special prices. These will be served at lunch from noon till 3pm and at dinner from 7-11pm.
