Maka­sib cus­tomers to earn points on Book­ing.com

As a first of-its-kind ini­tia­tive in the sul­tanate, mem­bers of Oman­tel’s Maka­sib loy­alty pro­gramme can now earn more points when mak­ing travel book­ings through Book­ing.com, a lead­ing provider of online ac­com­mo­da­tion book­ing ser­vices world­wide.

“Since the launch of Maka­sib, we are keen to of­fer a unique ex­pe­ri­ence to the dis­cern­ing mem­bers of the pro­gramme through re­wards that suit their mul­ti­ple needs. We be­lieve that our cus­tomers de­serve ev­ery­thing that is dif­fer­ent and ex­clu­sive,” said Usama al Rawas, man­ager, Loy­alty Man­age­ment at Oman­tel Con­sumer unit.

He added, “Maka­sib’s mem­bers can now earn more points when book­ing through Book­ing.com, which of­fers trav­ellers thou­sands of op­tions for ac­com­mo­da­tion around the world. For ev­ery RO1 spent, Maka­sib mem­bers are en­ti­tled to re­ceive ten re­ward points. Th­ese points are added to cus­tomers’ ac­counts when they make reser­va­tions. To make reser­va­tions, they have to dial * 224 * 33 # and will re­ceive the link ded­i­cated to Maka­sib cus­tomers at Book­ing.com or through the Oman­tel web­site.

“We al­ways look to pro­vide Oman­tel cus­tomers with unique so­lu­tions de­signed to en­rich their time both in­side and out­side the sul­tanate. Maka­sib's lat­est part­ner­ship with Book­ing.com and Oman Air’s Sind­bad will add more value to the travel ex­pe­ri­ence for ho­tel reser­va­tions, ticket pur­chases, flight bonuses, up­dates, etc. This ini­tia­tive is in line with the ob­jec­tives of Oman­tel’s new iden­tity cam­paign ‘Amaz­ing Hap­pens To­gether’. Regis­ter­ing for the Maka­sib pro­gramme is easy and re­quires cus­tomers to dial # 224 * and fol­low the in­struc­tions or ap­ply through Oman­tel or reg­is­ter us­ing E-ser­vices on the Oman­tel web­site.”
