Makasib customers to earn points on Booking.com
As a first of-its-kind initiative in the sultanate, members of Omantel’s Makasib loyalty programme can now earn more points when making travel bookings through Booking.com, a leading provider of online accommodation booking services worldwide.
“Since the launch of Makasib, we are keen to offer a unique experience to the discerning members of the programme through rewards that suit their multiple needs. We believe that our customers deserve everything that is different and exclusive,” said Usama al Rawas, manager, Loyalty Management at Omantel Consumer unit.
He added, “Makasib’s members can now earn more points when booking through Booking.com, which offers travellers thousands of options for accommodation around the world. For every RO1 spent, Makasib members are entitled to receive ten reward points. These points are added to customers’ accounts when they make reservations. To make reservations, they have to dial * 224 * 33 # and will receive the link dedicated to Makasib customers at Booking.com or through the Omantel website.
“We always look to provide Omantel customers with unique solutions designed to enrich their time both inside and outside the sultanate. Makasib's latest partnership with Booking.com and Oman Air’s Sindbad will add more value to the travel experience for hotel reservations, ticket purchases, flight bonuses, updates, etc. This initiative is in line with the objectives of Omantel’s new identity campaign ‘Amazing Happens Together’. Registering for the Makasib programme is easy and requires customers to dial # 224 * and follow the instructions or apply through Omantel or register using E-services on the Omantel website.”
