WCAS to host Faculty Development Programme from Sept 10-14

Waljat College of Applied Sciences (WCAS) is organising a one-week Faculty Development Programme on ‘Advanced Multivariate Techniques using SPSS and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM)’. This programme will provide a detailed understanding of basic concepts, techniques and tools associated used in SPSS and SEM.

This programme is primarily targetted at academicians, PhD scholars and other professionals who are engaged in research in the area of business and management. It will also be very useful for those teachers who are teaching Research Methodology and Marketing Research.

The main objective of this programme is to impart knowledge to academicians, research scholars and professionals on various statistical tools of quantitative data analysis using contemporary multivariate techniques in SPSS.

This programme shall also provide a detailed understanding of concepts, techniques and tools associated with performing SEM analysis for proposed model validation.

The resource person for the programme is Dr Neeraj Kaushik, who works as associate professor and head, Department of Business Administration in NIT Kurukshetra, with more than 15 years of experience in research and teaching in the area of mar- keting research, operations research and research methodology.
