Omani Products Exhibition in Salalah draws good response

-

Salalah - In line with the series of exhibitions held as part of Origin Oman campaign, the Public Establishment for Industrial Estates (PEIE) is organising an Omani Products Exhibition at the Municipality Recreation Centre in Ittin, Salalah.

The exhibition, which was inaugurated under the auspices of Sheikh Abdullah bin Aqeel al Ibrahim, acting deputy governor of Dhofar, comes in line with events held at Salalah Tourism Festival 2017.

Sheikh Ibrahim said, “Many of the participating companies in the exhibition export their products. This ultimately plays a significant role in strengthening the national economy.”

Participants said that such ex- hibitions offer a great opportunity to introduce their products, which are competing in local and overseas markets.

PEIE aspires to raise awareness on the locally-manufactured products and services and their ability to compete locally and abroad.

The Origin Oman campaign is a national initiative designed to encourage consumers and organisations to buy Oman-made goods and services, promote national pride in the manufacturing industry and highlight the economic importance of choosing and buying locally-manufactured products and services.

The exhibition will continue till August 30.
