Ooredoo offers unlimited WhatsApp to Mousbak users

Ooredoo is giving customers even more to enjoy the Internet by offering all Mousbak users with unlimited WhatsApp on every RO5 or RO10 top-up of More Internet. After opting in for free, customers will receive 2 or 5GB of data and limitless access to one of the world’s most popular social media applications.

Feras bin Abdallah al Sheikh, director of Consumer Sales at Ooredoo, said, “The pace of WhatsApp’s user growth has been phenomenal, especially when considering the fact that it acquired one billion users only seven years after its launch. Its system, which has the proven capacity to deliver 42bn messages a day, has allowed it to remain the number one application in the sultanate by giving users to cost-effectively stay connected to loved ones around the world. We are proud to launch this three month promotion, which will allow users to get so much more out of the instant messaging service and the convenient connecting and sharing experience it provides.”

Ooredoo’s More Internet service was created to provide customers with more than just a standard recharge, offering additional mobile Internet allowances with every recharge of RO1, RO2, RO5 or RO10. Each recharge of RO1 will give customers 150MB of extra mobile data to be used within ten days, recharges of RO2 give an increased allowance of 750MB valid for ten days, customers recharging with RO5 will receive 2GB of mobile data to use within 20 days and customers recharging with RO10 will receive 5GB of mobile data valid for 25 days.
