Musharaka con­fer­ence ends; MEDC wins best cus­tomer ser­vice award

At the clos­ing cer­e­mony, the Ruwad pre­sented their con­cept pa­pers as a re­sult of the sce­nario plan­ning work­shops.

“We con­clude Musharaka 2017 to­day by hon­our­ing a num­ber of com­pa­nies and in­di­vid­u­als that par­tic­i­pated in Nama Group Awards, which in­cluded Nama’s Award for Best Per­form­ing Com­pany in Cus­tomer Ser­vice, Oc­cu­pa­tional Health and Safety, and Fi­nan­cial Per­for­mance, in ad­di­tion to Nama Group’s em­ployee awards which in­cluded: Best Em­ployee and Ju­nior Leader Awards. Ad­di­tion­ally, the group launched Nama Group’s HSE Award for its con­trac­tors and sup­pli­ers to fur­ther pro­mote and en­cour­age the ap­pli­ca­tion of safe prac­tices cul­ture, in ac­cor­dance with the best in­ter­na­tional and lo­cal stan­dards among con­trac­tors,” Eng Wa­haibi said.

In the Best Em­ployee award, Shar­ifa al Barekia from Ma­jan Elec­tric­ity Com­pany won first place, and Badr al Farsi from Nama Hold­ing came sec­ond.

First place in the Ju­nior Leader Award was awarded to Fa­tima al Hosni from Ma­jan Elec­tric­ity Com­pany and sec­ond place was awarded to Ab­dul­lah al Jabri from Ma­jan Elec­tric­ity Com­pany, and Said al Dhabari from Oman Elec­tric­ity Trans­mis­sion Com­pany came third.
