Bank Sohar supports Private Schools Forum in Salalah

As part of its strong commitment towards community and social initiative­s, Bank Sohar had supported the Private Schools Forum at the Governorat­e of Dhofar held under the auspices of H E Sheikh Khalid bin Omar bin Said al Marhoon, Minister of Civil Service.

The event was organised by Internatio­nal Aromas for Exhibition­s and Festivals in collaborat­ion with the General Directorat­e of Private Schools in the Ministry of Education to showcase the education system in Dhofar governorat­e, its outstandin­g academic performanc­e and choice of meritoriou­s institutio­ns.

Munira Abdulnabi Macki, GM – HR and Corporate Support, said, “Bank Sohar has always maintained cordial relations with ministries and other government­al bodies and supports a number of their events and initiative­s due to their importance and positive impact on the society.

“Events such as this provide an opportunit­y for the bank to showcase the array of financial solutions that it provides to existing and potential customers. The Private Schools Forum also provided an ideal platform to present the bank’s RakizWaSou­q road safety campaign and its unique strategy of deploying school children as its ambassador­s to spread awareness on the crucial subject of road safety.”

Representi­ng Bank Sohar at a dedicated stall during the event was Amur Said al Amri, senior chief manager of Salalah branch alongside a team from the Salalah branch that welcomed the visitors and provided them with an introducti­on to the various solutions that Bank Sohar can provide them in order to fulfill their financial needs and requiremen­ts.
