Ooredoo awards digital painter in Shababiah art competitio­n

Ooredoo rewarded digital painter and artist Rawiya al Khalili with a RO700 prize for her fourth place finish in the Shababiah art competitio­n.

The 25 year old Omani produced a digital piece which captivated the judges for the wealth of creativity and youthful exuber- ance it displayed for the Shababiah brand.

Rawiya learned about the competitio­n while walking with friends and was immediatel­y inspired to showcase her talent by entering. The artist overcame a number of challenges to create the stunning artwork and claim a place in the top five.

Rawiya said, “My mother’s prayers and constant support helped inspire me to give it my all and for that I am grateful. I would also like to thank Ooredoo for the wonderful opportunit­y to showcase my work and share my passion for digital painting with the world. I am now closer to my goal of achieving many milestones as an artist and look forward to using my experience­s in the Shababiah art competitio­n to inspire me to greater achievemen­ts in the future.”
