Oman joins WB, IMF annual meetings

The sultanate will participate today in the annual meetings of the World Bank (WB) and the International Monetary Fund (IMF), which will be held in Washington, DC, from Thursday to Sunday.

Oman’s delegation includes Tahir bin Salim al Amri, executive president of the Central Bank of Oman (CBO), Abdul Salam bin Mohammed al Murshidi, CEO of the State General Reserve Fund (SGRF) and a number of officials from the Ministry of Finance and CBO.

Oman’s delegation will meet on the sidelines of the meetings with representatives of international banks and financial institutions to discuss the relations between the sultanate and these institutions
