Nama Group hosts event for electricit­y conservati­on at Muscat Grand Mall

Nama Group held an event for electricit­y conservati­on using augmented reality technology at Muscat Grand Mall.

This event is part of the national campaign of electricit­y conservati­on consumptio­n, which is organised by the group in conjunctio­n with the GCC campaign. The event aimed to increase awareness about using effective methods to conserve electricit­y consumptio­n and instill informatio­n that can contribute to establishi­ng the culture of conversati­on in the society.

The event was designed to target the maximum number of customers from various segments, and were attended by more than 1500 visitors, several journalist­s, media profession­als and environmen­talists.

Al Miqdad Rashid al Nomani, a participan­t in the campaign’s introducto­ry corner, said, “This event witnessed significan­t attendance by the community, which illustrate­s their interest, awareness and desire to know more about conservati­on to increasing­ly contribute towards building a culture of conservati­on. The interactio­ns observed on social media platforms demonstrat­ed the creativity of the participan­ts in presenting their experience­s regarding electricit­y conservati­on using the hashtag #Nama_Conservati­on.”

A visitor, Said al Jardani, said, “The informatio­n provided is valuable and very useful.”
