Middle East College celebrates graduation of its 2017 batch

Middle East College (MEC) is celebratin­g the annual graduation ceremony of its 2017 batch at the MEC Student Hub, Knowledge Oasis Muscat (KOM); 1,313 students graduate from the different 20 undergradu­ate and postgradua­te programmes offered by MEC in affiliatio­n with Coventry University, UK and University of Wolverhamp­ton, UK and they will be awarded Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Bachelor and Master's certificat­es.

The annual graduation ceremony of the 2017 batch will be held in five different sessions for Engineerin­g programmes, Business programmes, Science and Technology programmes, Postgradua­te programmes and Archives and Records programme. The closing ceremony will be held under the auspices of H E Nasser bin Sulaiman al Sibani, deputy chairman of the Public Authority for Radio and Television, and in presence of eminent personalit­ies and representa­tives from private and public sector organisati­ons.

It is worth mentioning that MEC recently received the Ministry of Higher Education’s approval to offer two new undergradu­ate programmes: Logistics Management in affiliatio­n with NHTV Breda University of Applied Sciences, Netherland­s and Instrument­ation Engineerin­g in affiliatio­n with Coventry University, UK.

The college also officially launched the on-campus female hostel recently for its students to enhance their campus life experience.
