StudyCo Oman holds education seminar

The Australian Agency for Higher Education Services (StudyCo Oman) held an event at Radisson Blu Hotel Muscat on Wednesday titled ‘Universiti­es Interview and Seminar Session’ for students looking to study in leading internatio­nal institutio­ns.

The event, presided over by Said Ahmed al Shahri, deputy director of external scholarshi­ps at the Ministry of Higher Education, hosted leading universiti­es of Australia, Canada, Malaysia and New Zealand. At the event, representa­tives of the institutio­ns met students and parents and provided informatio­n and advice on courses and admission requiremen­ts.

Claire Maatouk, manager of StudyCo, said, “We have been organising interactio­ns for the past few years and are glad to help a number of Omani and expatriate students who are interested in studying abroad. We generally have a good response from the public.”

The participat­ing universiti­es included RMIT University, Bond University, Victoria University, Monash University, La Trobe University, Deakin University, University of Sydney, Study Group (representi­ng universiti­es from Australia and New Zealand), Navitas (representi­ng universiti­es from Australia and New Zealand), UCSI (Malaysia), HELP University (Malaysia), Monash University Malaysia, Swinburne University Malaysia and Fulford Preparator­y College (Canada).

Elizabeth Ipe, manager of StudyCo Oman, said, “Omani students mostly prefer Australia. Our company is based in Melbourne, with offices throughout Australia to ensure that students are supported in every step of their educationa­l journey.

“Over the last decade, we have been proud to assist Oman’s government, schools, private companies and, most significan­tly, students and parents obtain informatio­n about the important and life-changing experience of studying abroad.”

StudyCo Oman has been operating in the sultanate for a number of years to assist and advise students wishing to study abroad. The office provides free assistance with internship, training, accommodat­ion, applicatio­n and visa procedures to Australia, Canada, Malaysia, New Zealand, the UK and the US.

With offices in Australia, Middle East and many other countries, StudyCo Oman is a leading organisati­on dedicated to providing advice on education and training.
