GoAir to operate flights under Air Bubble pact between Oman, India

In line with its vision to strengthen internatio­nal connectivi­ty between Oman and India, while offering passengers with seamless travel options in the current situation, India’s GoAir has commenced direct flights to and from Muscat to Mumbai, Delhi, Kochi and Kannur effective October 15, under the Air Bubble agreement between the two countries.

The arrangemen­t is part of the partnershi­p between Wadia Group and OMZEST Group in Oman. ‘The joint efforts of GoAir and Mezoon Travel saw many achievemen­ts that resulted in key flight launches between the Gulf and India in the past. The Air Bubble operation is yet another step forward in that direction catering to the travel requiremen­ts of the VFR (Visiting Friends & Relatives) segment,’ stated a press release.

‘GoAir is pleased to have successful­ly operated Air Bubble flights between UAE and India. It brings every individual at GoAir immense satisfacti­on to be able to contribute in providing convenient travel options to our fellow countrymen through these flights. We are grateful to the government for trusting us to operate these flights and including us in the Air Bubble operations.’
