GoAir to operate flights under Air Bubble pact between Oman, India
In line with its vision to strengthen international connectivity between Oman and India, while offering passengers with seamless travel options in the current situation, India’s GoAir has commenced direct flights to and from Muscat to Mumbai, Delhi, Kochi and Kannur effective October 15, under the Air Bubble agreement between the two countries.
The arrangement is part of the partnership between Wadia Group and OMZEST Group in Oman. ‘The joint efforts of GoAir and Mezoon Travel saw many achievements that resulted in key flight launches between the Gulf and India in the past. The Air Bubble operation is yet another step forward in that direction catering to the travel requirements of the VFR (Visiting Friends & Relatives) segment,’ stated a press release.
‘GoAir is pleased to have successfully operated Air Bubble flights between UAE and India. It brings every individual at GoAir immense satisfaction to be able to contribute in providing convenient travel options to our fellow countrymen through these flights. We are grateful to the government for trusting us to operate these flights and including us in the Air Bubble operations.’
