Bank Muscat rewards 50 winners with RO100,000 in Women’s Day draw

In line with its vision ‘To serve you better, everyday’, Bank Muscat, the leading financial services provider in the sultanate, rewarded 50 women customers with a total of RO100,000 at a special Al Mazyona prize draw to celebrate the Omani Women’s Day.

The lucky winners won RO2,000 each during the draw, which was held at the bank’s head office. The draw and the celebrations at the bank were held in the presence of Ilham Murtadha al Hamaid, deputy general manager - Large Corporates, Bank Muscat, and livestreamed over the bank’s social media channels on Twitter and Instagram.

A presentation on the achievements of Omani women was also made during the prize draw, where women employees of the bank spoke about the many successes of Omani women across all fields. With Bank Muscat keenly focused on providing a professional work environment based on fair and equal opportunities to its employees, today as much as 48 per cent of the bank’s employees are women.

Speaking about the importance of the special draw, Ilham said, “We congratulate all women on the occasion of the Omani Women’s Day. The bank is very happy to reward 50 lucky winners on this special occasion as we celebrate their achievements in the Renaissance of Oman and encourage them to realise their professional dreams and aspirations.

“By achieving their full potential, Omani women are contributing greatly to economic progress and development of the sultanate. We are very happy to showcase the fine achievements of Omani women on this very special day.”

All women customers who maintained an average monthly balance of RO1,000 were entered into the special draw.

Customers can win more by saving more since their chances of winning goes up proportionally with higher deposit balances and the longer they save with the bank.
