The Nissan Altima 2.0lt Turbo, which has a new standard of design, driving enjoyment and technology has been creating waves within the mid-size sedan segment since its launch. The sedan’s advanced VC-Turbo engine – the company's first productionready variable compression ratio engine – is one of the most advanced internal combustion engines ever created. Similarly, Nissan Altima 2.5lt features expressive styling, an uplifting interior, two powertrains, and advanced Nissan Intelligent Mobility features.
The Nissan Altima 2.0 has the world’s first variable compression turbo engine. The engine is so smart that it anticipates what the driver wants. The Altima’s shape-shifting VC-turbo engine lets the driver enjoy a lot. Nissan Altima 2.5lt unlocks the pure joy of driving through its innovative latest technology and Nissan Intelligent Mobility feature that responds to the world around in real time.
Powered by an innovative 248 horsepower, 2.0lt, turbocharged variable compression, four-cylinder engine, Nissan Altima continuously adjusts its compression ratio to optimise power and efficiency. Whether its tur
bocharged power that pushes you back in your seat or efficiency that sips fuel, even in city streets, Altima’s shape-shifting VC-Turbo engine gives you the best of both worlds. The sedan is a complete technological package – it over delivers on the basics, boasts features and innovative technologies never seen in its class.
The VC-Turbo engine has been developed after years of research and consumer feedback. It seamlessly changes its compression ratio between 8:1 (for high performance) and 14:1 (for high efficiency) – with an advanced multi-link system continuously raising or lowering the pistons' reach to transform the compression ratio. While a high compression ratio gives greater efficiency, a low compression ratio allows for greater power and torque and avoids knocking.
Nissan Altima also comes standard with a traditional 2.5lt, four-cylinder engine. The 2.5lt inline 4-cylinder, which is standard on all Altima grades, utilises more than 80 per cent or redesigned parts. Nissan Altima 2.0lt Turbo delivers 248 horsepower and has dimensions of 4900x1852x1447mm (LxWxH). It has a CVT transmission, a Wheelbase of 2825mm and Fuel Tank capacity of 61lt.
Creating a new standard of design, driving enjoyment and technology within the mid-size sedan segment, Nissan Altima features expressive styling, an uplifting interior, two powertrains, and advanced Nissan Intelligent Mobility features.
Among the Nissan Altima’s many features, perhaps the one that stands out most is its ‘class above’ appeal, which is apparent at first look and first touch of both the exterior and interior executions.
