His Majesty receives more greetings on Accession Day

Muscat - His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has received more cables of greetings on the Accession Day anniversar­y - January 11.

His Majesty the Sultan received greetings from King Hamad bin Issa al Khalifa of Bahrain; Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al Thani, Emir of Qatar; Sheikh Nawaf al Ahmed al Jaber al Sabah, Emir of Kuwait; King Mohammed VI of Morocco; Prince Salman bin Hamad al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Bahrain; Sheikh Meshaal al Ahmed al Jaber al Sabah, Crown Prince of Kuwait; Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad al Thani, Deputy Emir of Qatar; and Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior of Qatar.

His Majesty the Sultan also received cables of greetings on the occasion from their highnesses, ministers, commanders of the Sultan's Armed Forces, Royal Oman Police and other security department­s, members of the State Council and Majlis A'Shura, undersecre­taries, Omani ambassador­s, heads of the diplomatic missions in the sultanate, sheikhs, dignitarie­s and citizens.

The well-wishers expressed their heartfelt greetings and best wishes of good health and happiness to His Majesty the Sultan on the glorious occasion. They prayed to Almighty Allah to protect His Majesty the Sultan, grant him a long life and for the return of happy occasions on His Majesty while the Omani people realise further aspiration­s under his wise leadership.

His Majesty the Sultan replied to the well-wishers on the glorious occasion. His Majesty the Sultan expressed his gratitude and appreciati­on for their sincere greetings and noble feelings. His Majesty the Sultan prayed to Allah the Almighty to perpetuate health and wellbeing on them, and for the return of happy occasions on them while they enjoy progress and welfare.
