Ooredoo appoints Manhi as director of operations

Muscat – Ooredoo Oman on Wednesday announced the appointmen­t of Saleh al Manhi as the new director of operations and maintenanc­e.

Holding a bachelor’s degree in computer engineerin­g from Sultan Qaboos University and with almost two decades of industry experience, Manhi has been part of the Ooredoo family for the last 14 years, as well as an active member of several national technical teams formed by the Telecommun­ications Regulatory Authority (TRA) and other authoritie­s.

Having been heavily involved in the launch of Ooredoo’s 4G network, fixed wireless and 5G networks, in his new role Manhi is anticipate­d to continue to drive the company’s ambitious network expansion strategy, Ooredoo said in a press release.
