Salalah Cricket League winners, runners-up awarded
Oman Cricket Club-Salalah under Oman Cricket distributed the winners and runners-up trophies for Salalah Cricket League 2019-2020 which was delayed due to coronavirus pandemic.
Four winners and four runners up teams received their respective trophies and individual medals from A R Srinivasan, Level 2 Educator for Umpires, who was present in Salalah to conduct the Level 0 course for Salalah umpires.
Mayur Toprani, Treasurer Oman Cricket Club Salalah, Hiten Dave and Waseem, members and Ground Committee heads from Oman Cricket ClubSalalah, along with Anil Kumar, secretary, Oman Cricket Club, were present during the ceremony.
Winners of A Division Fonderie Bellie and runners up Mohammed Riaz & Partner both won 6 matches with 12 points but with higher run rate Fonderie Bellie was declared winners of A Division.
In B Division Civil Technology won all there matches with 12 points were winners and runners up Abu Saeed Restaurant won 4 matches with 8 points came ahead of Divine trading with same number of wins but with lower run rate.
In C Division team Al Wasta United & Development with 4 wins were winners and Saham Al Janoob also with 8 points runners up due to lower run rate.
In D Division also Al S’afwa
Dairy & Beverages were winners with 8 points and ONEIC runners up again with 8 points but lower run rate.
Along with winners and runners up trophies individual trophies were also given to the winners of each division.

Man of series Abhishek Choudankar of Fonderie Bellie with 214 runs & 14 wickets from 6 matches

Bowler of series - Shah Baz from Civil Technology & Development with 11 wkts from 5 matches.
C Division
Man of series - Mohsin Abdul Rajjak Wadekar from Saham Al Janoob with 136 runs & 8 wkts from 6 matches,
Batsman of series - Sanil Kumar Kunhil Paramnath From Saham Al Janoob with 236 runs from 5 matches
Bowler of series - Noel Ananda From Gharbia Enterprises with 10 wkts from 5 matches.
D Division
Man of series -Hafiz Qumar Shahzad - with 209 runs & 9 wkts from 5 matches
Batsman of series - Shirish Jawalkar 190 runs from 5 matches
Bowler of series - Qasim Khan 9 wkts from 5 matches.
Function started with Anil Kumar, secretary Oman Cricket Club-Salalah, welcoming the teams and chief Guest A R Srinivasan (certified Level 2 trainer & Umpiring Head for Oman Cricket).
A small session on COVID-19 regulations in playing conditions included in 2020-2021 for all the captains/managers and umpires was conducted by Srinivasan and also briefed teams regarding strict adherence to the COVID19 protocol and also discipline during the entire tournament.
Event concluded with Anil Kumar informing teams about possible start of Season 5 shortly.
