Engine

The Nissan Navara is powered by the latest generation of Nissan engines and is designed to give the right amount of power when and where you need it most. The legendary Nissan Navara is available with two transmission options with both 2-wheel drive and 4-wheel drive options. The 2.5lt engine used in the Navara has a displacement of 2488 cc producing up to 168hp/244nm torque.

Navara Diesel

option is available with YD25 engine, a 2.5lt unit producing 161hp/403nm torque. This variant comes with PDO specifications for use in desert operations.

Being a pickup one can trust right down to its core, Nissan Navara’s full-length fully boxed ladder frame provides solidity and strength one can rely on. With its steel double-wishbone front suspension and rigid leaf suspension, drivers and owners are sure to experience a smooth and comfortable ride on and off the road.

Enclosed on all four sides, the fully boxed ladder frame is reinforced in strategic areas with high-tensile strength steel for improved structural rigidity. Stronger than conventional steel, it provides increased torsional stiffness, offering a marked improvement over traditional steel

C-section frames. All of which ensures it performs impressively in the toughest driving conditions. In addition, all cross members are welded, not riveted, which helps resist flexing and increases durability.

Shift-on-the-fly 4wheel drive

The 4WD system is electronically controlled via an easy-toreach rotary switch on the dash. At the driver’s command is the shift-on-the-fly 4WD system that switches between 2WD and high range 4WD (4H) with the twist of a dial at speeds of up to 100 km/hr. Its Limited Slip Differential (LSD) controls each of the four wheels to optimise traction in challenging conditions.

Rear Differential, which delivers equal power to both rear wheels to boost traction and helps keep you moving forward.

Hill Start Assist and Hill Descent Control

The Hill Start Assist feature can help keep from rolling backwards when accelerating up a hill from a stop and Hill Descent Control helps maintain a steady speed and braking, so one can get down a steep grade more safely.
