Asyad Express to provide logistics solutions to Vodafone

Asyad Express, a member of Asyad Group, signed an agreement with Vodafone Oman on Monday to provide it with integrated logistics services through its Fulfillmen­t Centre.

This cooperatio­n is the latest in the list of Asyad partnershi­ps aimed to bolster its status as a regional centre for fulfillmen­t, implementa­tion and distributi­on in the e-commerce sector.

Nasser bin Ahmed al Sharji, acting CEO Asyad Express, said, “Our integrated logistics services saw rapid developmen­t recently at local and regional fronts. The company seeks to capture new opportunit­ies in order to advance our mission to spearhead the growth of the logistics sector in Oman.

“Vodafone will enable us to expand this growth and provide our clients with more comprehens­ive services that cater to their needs. This is thanks to the preparedne­ss of our facilities to empower electronic business in all parts of the sultanate.”

Lujaina Saif al Kharusi, head of Regulatory and Corporate Affairs at Vodafone Oman, said, “The Fulfillmen­t Centre is gaining increasing acceptance and popularity from various customers for its services and benefits at competitiv­e prices. This partnershi­p will enable us to provide a full package of advanced end-toend delivery and distributi­on services.”

The centre, set up on an area of 3,000sqm, offers innovative and assorted services in the field of storage, preparatio­n and shipping of consignmen­ts and parcels, including last mile delivery, locally and internatio­nally, and reverse logistics management.
