Sultan Center launches vaccination campaign for staff, their families
As part of its commitment to taking measures to prevent the spread of the virus, The Sultan Center (TSC) launched a COVID-19 vaccination campaign for all staff members and their families in the various branches around Muscat.
The initiative comes as part of TSC’s extensive preventative measures to maintain the public safety and reduce the spread of the virus.
Mahmoud al Shaikh, marketing manager at TSC, said, “Everyone at TSC are all aware of the importance of getting vaccinated against COVID-19 and support measures in the sultanate to protect the community during this difficult time. Vaccinating our employees is the latest initiative to maintain public safety.”
He added, “We have managed to provide COVID-19 vaccination for over 300 employees and their families; we will continue our campaign until we get all our staff members and their families vaccinated, while maintaining the necessary preventive measures as advised by the official authorities in the sultanate.”
TSC has been a leader in the fight against COVID-19 by implementing a series of strict safety protocols at each centre.
TSC Qurm, Azaiba, Al Khoudh and Amerat wholesale centers and TSC Mawaleh, Samail and Quriyat centres all feature an automatic sanitiser for shopping carts, Smart Pass temperature checks for customers entering the store; carts are also sterilised round the clock on a daily basis.
Cashier counters have also been fitted with transparent plastic barriers to protect staff and customers while still allowing friendly interaction.
Staff have also been wearing protective masks, visors and gloves at all times, while every centre has been rearranged and marked in order to help customers maintain a safe distance and ensure an enjoyable and safe shopping experience.
The Sultan Center is the largest independent publicly traded retailer in Kuwait, serving 5mn customers annually across its 61 stores, in Kuwait, Jordan, Bahrain, and Oman where it operates seven stores.
