Schneider Electric to help firms achieve sustainability goals
Schneider Electric has launched a new range of decarbonisation and sustainability consulting services for companies based in Saudi Arabia and the Gulf. These services include the identification of energy efficiency savings, carbon offset programmes, offsite renewable energy sourcing, electric mobility advising, and supply chain optimisation and will provide organisations in the region with a comprehensive range of sustainability services that will ensure they are on track to reduce their environmental footprint, reduce resource costs, and focus on achieving a pathway to net zero carbon dioxide emissions.
Countries across the Gulf have set ambitious targets when it comes to developing greener, more sustainable economies. Oman is one of the Arab world’s leaders when it comes to sustainability achievements and goals. The country’s Environment Authority has worked to protect and develop the country’s environmental sustainability as part of Oman’s Vision 2040 plan. Institutions such as Oman Environmental Services Holding
Company have also led the way in promoting sustainability. Schneider Electric will support this direction and help Omani organisations with sustainability consulting expertise.
Schneider’s Electric’s consultants will help organisations across the region to define their energy and sustainability programmes, helping them to become more efficient, save money and realise new business opportunities. “Increased awareness on climate change risk, rising public concern and stakeholder pressure has pushed sustainability to the top of corporate priorities,” said Schneider Electric’s Sustainability Business Division director for MEA Capucine Dourdin Jeunet.
