Bait Al Zubair and ABQ Education Group sign cooperation deal

To strengthen cooperation and partnership between Al Zubair Foundation companies, Bait Al Zubair Foundation and ABQ Educationa Group signed a cooperation agreement covering three main sectors: Heritage, arts, and culture. This agreement comes as an enhancement of social responsibility in raising the efficiency of the educational environment, and harnessing the capabilities that serve the educational process, within the three schools: Azzan bin Qais International School, Al-Seeb International School, and Sohar International School.

The agreement included several items, including the agreement to hold permanent exhibitions in the schools of the ABQ Educational Group, whether for heritage or art collections, which are supervised and implemented by Bait Al Zubair Foundation, from which strengthen activities such as (The Small Museum) and (The Ambassador of Bait Al Zubair) to deepen the ties between students and the terminology of heritage and arts.

The agreement also included holding interactive, artistic, and heritage educational workshops for students of ABQ Educational Group schools and other workshops that enhance the curriculum, such as science exhibitions and other extra-curricular activities. In addition to working on the summer camp programme for students, which facilitates the presentation of knowledge in an interesting and enjoyable manner.

In addition, there will be programmes for teachers to provide them with knowledge in the fields of culture, arts, and heritage so that they can pass it on to students at different levels of study, especially new and foreign teachers.

Bait Al Zubair Foundation will provide facilities for parents to visit the museum and benefit from all its offerings.

The two institutions also plan in the future to hold more expanded events, and host educators from inside and outside the sultanate to hold workshops and seminars that enrich the educational process for students and teachers.

The agreement was signed on the part of Bait Al Zubair Foundation by Dr Mohammad al Shahi, general manager of Bait Al Zubair Foundation, and on the part of ABQ Educational Group by Ibrahim al Salmi, deputy executive director.
