Genesis makes strong inroads

Global luxury automotive brand Genesis continues to make strong inroads into the Omani market with its distinctive lineup of superbly crafted sedans, SUVs and sports coupes.

Exemplifying motoring luxury, the brand enjoys an emotional connection with a new generation of customers charmed by its innovative design and engineering, a press release said.

All four models in the Genesis portfolio - G70, G80, GV70 and GV80 - have been well-received in Oman. Defined by their symbolic ‘Two Lines’ theme, they incorporate Genesis’ ‘Athletic Elegance’ design philosophy, espousing a perfect balance between two opposing characteristics - athleticism and elegance. Inside the cabin, the ‘Beauty of White Space’ philosophy is evident in the harmony of personal space and state-of-theart technology.

Not surprisingly, the Genesis brand has garnered an array of international awards over the past years for design excellence, quality and safety. At the worldrenowned iF Design Award 2022 competition held in Seoul in April, Genesis won four coveted honours – three for Product Design and one for Interior Architecture.

The awards, organised by German-based International Forum Design GmbH, were a testament to the passion, dedication and creative collaboration of the brand’s design team.

Safety is also synonymous with the brand, as attested by the growing number of awards conferred upon Genesis in recent years. Most notably, the California-based Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) announced in February this year that all 2022 model year Genesis vehicles have been designated as Top Safety Pick for 2022.
