Bank Muscat opens state-of-the-art branch

In line with Bank Muscat’s customer-centric vision ‘To serve you better, everyday’, the bank inaugurate­d a new state-of-theart banking branch at Madinat as Sultan Qaboos in the presence of Murtadha Ahmed Sultan, Director, WJ Towell Group; Ahmed Faqir al Balushi, Chief Banking Officer, Bank Muscat; and senior officials from the bank.

The new branch features a number of unique facilities like a Private Banking Branch, an Asalah Priority Banking Centre and a customer-centric reception desk that can promptly and efficientl­y assist customers in their banking needs. Also, as part of the bank’s focus on improving access to persons with disabiliti­es, the new branch will have disabled-friendly access, teller counters and ATMS.

Speaking on the occasion, Abdulnasir N al Raisi, general manager - Personal Banking, Bank Muscat, said, “Bank Muscat has earned a name over four decades of operations in the Sultanate for its customer-centricity, which is backed by the largest branch and ATM-CDM-FFM network, stateof-the-art Mobile and Internet banking, and world-class products and services.

“The opening of the new branch will further strengthen the bank’s leadership position in Oman by helping it serve its customers better every day in line with its aim for an enhanced Customer Experience. I take this opportunit­y to thank all our customers for their confidence and trust in the bank, and for being our partners in the progress and developmen­t of the sultanate.”

He added that the bank would be opening more such high-tech branches to meet the needs of different customer segments in the near future.

Taya Eid Bait Sabeea, deputy general manager - Interior Regions, Bank Muscat, expressed happiness at the opening of the branch to reach out and provide the best services to different segments of the bank’s customers, especially Premier Banking customers. “The bank’s continuous­ly expanding branch and ATM-CDM-FFM network, which serve different customer and demographi­c segments, highlight its efforts to remain the bank of first choice in Oman.”

He added that the current branch was chosen to meet current and future customer needs and was an implementa­tion of the bank’s vision to serve its customers better, every day. He thanked customers for their confidence in the bank.

The new branch, which will work from 8am to 2pm, will be a convenient option for the community in Madinat As Sultan Qaboos in general and Premier Banking customers.

Staffed by well qualified and experience­d Omani employees, it aims to provide prompt and efficient customer services thereby building further on the bank’s reputation as a listening bank that constantly strives to do better, every day.
