Khedmah renews collaboration with OCA
In line with its efforts to enhance community engagement, Oman Investment and Finance Company 'Khedmah' has renewed its collaboration with the Oman Charity Organisation to provide financial support for a number of initiatives implemented within the sultanate.
This agreement is part of Khedmah's social responsibility initiatives to drive social and economic development, and expand cooperation with charities that seek to assist individuals and families in need, a press release said.
Under the terms agreed upon, the Oman Charity Organisation will disburse this contribution to the support programmes determined in accordance with the requirements it specifies, which include providing support to a number of families in the sultanate and a number of emergency cases that require support.
Commenting on the collaboration, Said bin Ahmed Safrar, CEO of Khedmah, said, “We believe in the important role of charitable institutions and organisations. They play a huge role in advancing sustainable development within local communities, and empowering individuals and families to achieve a balance between the various segments of society.
“Albeit, ‘Khedmah’ is committed to renewing and expanding our cooperation with different organisations to provide beneficial initiatives to support those in need. As part of our corporate social responsibility objectives, and supported by the company's board of directors and employees, we work to instill community values at all times, and this agreement comes in recognition of the great role played by the Oman Charity Organisation in supporting such initiatives and helping insolvent cases.”
