Indian School Bousher holds ‘safe driving, safe transport’ orientation programme
In an effort to raise awareness about safe transportation and driving, a special orientation session was organised by Indian School Bousher for its school-approved transport drivers and attendants. The session was held on the school premises on Thursday.
The lead resource person Zakaria bin Yahya bin Suleiman al Ramahi and his colleague Juma bin Rashid bin Mubarak al Washahi of Security and Safety Services Training Institute, Sultanate of Oman captivated the audience with their presentation and contextual reference during the session.
The Indian School Bousher Transport and HSE subcommittee chairperson Dinesh M P, school principal Rakesh Singh Tomar and Sanjeev Sharma welcomed the guests and invitees.
During the session, the participants were briefed on a number of topics related to safe transportation and driving. These included the importance of following traffic rules and regulations, as well as maintaining proper road etiquette. The participants were also advised on how to handle emergency situations, such as accidents, breakdowns, or weather-related problems.
The participants were encouraged to maintain a positive attitude and to provide excellent customer service to the school's students and their families.
The resource persons were lauded for the informative and useful session by the participants who would now share their experiences and insights with their peers.
The orientation session was a great success and served as a reminder of the importance of safety in transportation and driving, the school stated.
