MOE runs practical classes in curriculum digitisation
The Ministry of Education (MOE) has conducted trial application sessions for digital books for Arabic language and science subjects at Al Mahamed School for Basic Education, as part of the follow-up to the trial application of the curriculum digitisation project for grades 1-12.
The sessions were conducted in the presence of Youssef al Ajili, CEO of B B Oman Company; Dr Yahya al Harithi, Director-general of Curriculum Development,
Chairman of the main committee supervising the project; Dr Ali al Jahouri, Director-general of Education in Muscat Governorate, and a number of officials from the Ministry of Education and B B Oman Company.
The visiting team expressed their joy with the implementation of the project due to its positive impact on motivating students and their excitement towards learning. They also found great interaction from students within the classroom, which contributed to increasing their motivation, and also facilitated the effort and time for teachers in providing digital contents that support the curriculum.
Some developmental aspects were also presented to support the activation of the curriculum digitisation project in the school environment through the dialogue that took place between the visiting team and the school’s administrative and teaching staff.
