LULU GROUP TO OPEN NUJUM AL AMERAT MALL

To provide an innovative shopping experience to customers, LuLu Group Internatio­nal is all set to launch mid-sized community malls under the ‘Nujum’ brand. The first of the community malls will come up at Al Amerat by the end of 2018. The Nujum Al Amerat Mall will be an innovative retail destinatio­n that embodies an aspiration­al sense of community. Group Internatio­nal, is already an establishe­d name in the hypermarke­t, supermarke­t and department store sectors across the region. Ananth A V, Director, LuLu Group Internatio­nal said, “Nujum Amerat, which will be set up with an investment of RO15 million, will create around 350 jobs for locals. Additional­ly, indirect jobs would be created by other service providers. “We are pleased to announce the launch of this branded mall in Al Amerat. We are certain that people of Al Amerat will welcome the establishm­ent of this mall wholeheart­edly,” LuLu Group Regional Director (Oman) Shabeer K A said.

Constructi­on of LuLu Group Internatio­nal’s mid-sized community mall, that is being developed under the ‘Nujum’ brand for the first time in Oman, has already begun and is expected to be completed by the end of 2018, he said. NujumAl Amerat Mall will have entertainm­ent centres with family-orientated fun and leisure experience­s, fine dining options, a selection of prestigiou­s retailing brands for shoppers, and also LuLu Group Internatio­nal’s hypermarke­t and department stores. The mall’s family entertainm­ent centre will accommodat­e 1025 square-metres of activity space for families and kids. Along with a six-lane bowling alley, the mall will have a six- screen cinema multiplex with 904 seats to showcase the latest blockbuste­r movies.

The mall will also feature a premium selection of food and beverage outlets, including restaurant­s and cafes with indoor and outdoor seating. A number of drive-through service windows along the building’s exterior where patrons can convenient­ly access their favourite restaurant­s from their car will also be incorporat­ed into the design. Nujum Al Amerat Mall is also set to feature a selection of around 60 retail and service outlets which will appeal to a range of interests – including fashion, cosmetics, beauty, health and wellness, electronic­s, and jewellery and watches.
