As part of its digital innovation and transformation process, Ahli Bank recently announced the launch of Ahli Bank Contactless Cards, a technology that will make payments process safer, easier and faster, thereby enhancing the overall customer experience.
This feature will be available for all
Debit and Credit Cards issued by Ahli Bank. The Contactless Cards can be used at millions of merchants, around the world, having POS terminals with the contactless symbol. To make a payment, all that needs to be done is hold or tap the Ahli Bank Contactless Card in front of the Contactless terminal to automatically receive confirmation that payment was successful. You will then be offered the transaction receipt and the transaction is complete. The Contactless Cards will also have Chip and PIN protection for security that makes them secure in all aspects. The cards can be used for any transaction amount within the cardholder’s credit limit. However, for individual transaction up to RO20 per transaction and maximum cardholder limit up to RO 60 or 5 contactless transactions, customers can use the card without the need to key in the PIN or sign a transaction receipt.
AHLIREWARDS
In line with the Bank’s commitment to always offer the best in banking experience, Ahli Bank introduced a new dynamic loyalty programme called ‘Ahlirewards’ for its cardholders as part of their continuous efforts to offer the best in banking services and create more value for their customers. The Ahlirewards programme will allow the cardholders to avail discounts across various categories and enjoy a wide range of offers and discounts.
Ahlirewards is available for all Ahli Bank debit and credit card holders. Customers can now enjoy and benefit from the unlimited discounts, which include ‘Buy One Get One Free’ Offers or up to 50% discount across segments such as dining, entertainment, wellness and lifestyle. These offers and privileges are not just valid in Oman, but also in other countries that include UAE, Bahrain, etc.
UPGRADED INTERNET & MOBILE APPLICATION
Ahli Bank has upgraded and improvised its mobile banking app for an enhanced digital banking experience to meet the changing needs of the customers. Technology upgradations, at par with global standards, have also been made to the online banking platform to ensure the customers have quick access to their financial information with complete security. The online and mobile banking solutions gives a seamless experience, 24x7 to Ahli Bank customers. Some processes such as fund transfer, opening a new account, filing complaints or contacting customer service are now available at a click of a button. The new-age solutions offer faster transactions and facilitates better customer service. Earlier this year, Ahli Bank also upgraded to the Point of Sale (POS) technology. The new POS system increases efficiency and expands payment capabilities in terms of inventory, employee and reporting management. This agile technology is not only faster but can also help lower the cost of operations, by increasing productivity.
