Drive for positive health receives good response
STARCARE Healthy New Year; Happy New Year’ campaign aimed at spreading awareness on regular health screening and initiatives towards moulding such a society gained substantial response after the roadshow visited various wilayats around the country.
Launched with the vision of a community with positive health and lifestyle, the campaign envisaged health screening as an essential way for the early detection of diseases and conditions that cause disability and death.
“With personalised attention from our healthcare professionals, our aim is to enrich well-being. Our health screening services are suitable for both individuals and corporate organisations”, said K Jayan, GM Starcare Health Systems.
As a first step Starcare worked out the perfect screening packages carefully designed to examine and assess the overall state of health, detect and investigate signs of illnesses for different genders, all age groups and specific check-ups — Executive Well Man Package, Executive Well Woman Package, Well Child Package and Cardiac Health Check-up Package.
With these customised packages and a wide range of privileges throughout the year as value addition to these packages, Starcare set out on its crusade of creating a healthy and happy Year 2012 beginning at Seeb and went all the way till Barkha and Nizwa.
‘With today’s hectic and demanding lifestyles, it is important that one maintains good health. You should take charge of your health and have an evaluation to prevent any potential health risks. Early detection allows diagnosis and management of illnesses to be done appropriately. You will receive a detailed individualised medical report. This will be reviewed during a private consultation with your doctor, who will ex- plain and provide you with suitable recommendations based on your health profile”, added Dr Askar Kukkadi, Medical Director, Starcare Hospital.
