Azzan Bin Qais International School revamps system
THE
Azzan Bin Qais International School in Muscat has revamped their teaching structure, starting from KG1 the curriculum content as well as other resources to improve their education system.
The school offers a hybrid educational programme catering to the Omani as well as non-omani students.
The school last year reg- istered a 23 per cent increase in the non-omani and 21 per cent increase in local student population.
In line with this projection the school has upgraded its study, development and play facilities.
“Our aim is create an educational culture where learning and playing is encouraged through creative, fun and effective methods. The school is proud of its expanding and well-experienced faculty that identifies each child’s abilities and molds’ them accordingly while inculcating sound education and discipline”, said Danny Harrison (pictured) Principal, ABQ School.
Azzan Bin Qais International School offers various cultural programmes throughout the academic year aimed at developing students’ awareness about culture, sports and other talents.
ABQ has introduced a parent engagement strategy with regular parent response forms and meetings in the school to actively promote one of the fundamentals of education — the role of the parent in the learning process.
“Parents are the co-educators in their child's education; they are the key to ensuring their child reaches their full potential. We want parents to have 'real roles' in the learning process."

The school is also providing a variety of facilities on an attractive campus that includes multimedia and computer labs, science labs, wellresourced library, sports and new recreation areas.
