Ooredoo launches value packed Shababiah plan

OOREDOO celebrated the launch of the inspiring new brand identity and completely new value-packed tariff for its popular youthfocus­ed Shababiah prepaid plan at a special ceremony held under the auspices of Sayyid Nasr bin Bader al Busaidi. Now with a dynamic new logo designed by leading young lights in Oman’s creative community, and a specially tailored voice and data plan developed in collaborat­ion with the Sultanate’s digital-savvy youth, Shababiah is more affordable, cost-effective, flexible and easy-to-use.

Speaking at the high-powered reveal Kumail al Moosawi, Chief People and Corporate Affairs Officer at Ooredoo said: “The result of listening to what our customers have told us, along with extensive research into the mobile technology needs of Oman’s growing young demographi­c, the refreshed Shababiah plan sets an innovative new standard in communicat­ions and connectivi­ty.”

He added: “At Ooredoo we work hard to truly understand what matters to all our customers, always striving to make communicat­ion easier, more versatile and always a rewarding experience. Shababiah is tailor-made for Oman’s youth and co-developed with them, is very much a result of these efforts, enabling them to make the most of their smartphone­s and digital devices and benefit from life-enriching technology as they connect with their friends and social circles, educate and entertain themselves, manage their day-to-day lives and more.”

Al Moosawi went on to explain that the new Shababiah logo, a product of the creative talents of young local artists Saif al Busaidy, Shayma al Mughairy, Sara Belucci, had been created to reflect and radiate the energy of Oman’s futurefocu­sed and ambitious youth and the vitality of the Shababiah brand.
