OC appoints new head curator
MUSCAT: Oman Cricket has appointed Anoop CK as its new head curator. Anoop is BCCI and ICC approved curator and is vastly experienced in preparing wickets for international and domestic matches – primarily for the BCCI and the Ranji Trophy. He has been involved with the Kerala Cricket Association as a curator from 2009 onwards.
Anoop CK is one of the youngest curators in India currently. He is a diploma holder in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Technology Insitute in Thalassery, India. Anoop topped the BCCI’s certification course for groundsmen in 2015, at the National Cricket Academy in Bangalore.
With the recent unveiling of the 2nd Ministry of Sports turf ground in Amerat, Anoop will bring his expertise in turf preparation and management into play.
