Five-in-one INTEX Oman industrial expo gets under way

Dec 5: INTEX Oman, a unique multi-category industrial fair showcasing world-leading products, services, technologies and trends spanning five thrust areas of the Sultanate’s economy, kicked off here yesterday.

The three-day event, which runs from December 5 to 7, 2016, is taking place at the prestigious Oman Convention & Exhibition Centre.

Running alongside the expo is INTEX Oman Forum, a two-day conference featuring keynote speeches and presentations on renewable energy development, sustainable water solutions, waste treatment options, and related topics.

Dr Rasheed bin Al Safi al Huraibi, Chairman of the Tender Board, led a number of public and private sector dignitaries at the formal inauguration of INTEX Oman 2016. Organised by well-known events management firm Global Exhibitions & Conferences LLC (GEC), this one-of-a-kind expo brings together the following five strategic and promising segments of the non-oil economy under one roof:
