-

MUSCAT: As part of its dedication to provide a comprehensive range of financing solutions that cater to all the needs of customers, Alizz Islamic Bank continues to provide education finance based on service Ijarah sharia principle as a unique programme to help students in the Sultanate fulfil their higher education dreams.

Based on the Islamic financing principle ‘Service Ijarah’, education finance comes with a variety of features and benefits, offering up to RO 25,000 with a 60-month settlement period. Payments will be made directly by the bank to the academic institution based on the official tuition fee schedule.

Under the ‘Service Ijarah’ principle, the bank enters into lease agreements with various service providers to sub-lease the services to its customers. ‘Alizz’ has been delivering Sharia-compliant student financing programmes to enable students to overcome the challenge of increasing tuition fees for post-graduate courses. The bank’s programmes offer well-planned solutions in a variety of options for students in dire need of financial support. BY strengthening its presence in the hearts and minds of customers in the Sultanate, Nissan won multiple honours with the consumers naming it the “most trusted” and the “most popular” brand in Oman in 2016.

While Nissan was awarded the significant “most popular car brand in Oman” at the Oman Auto Excellence Awards 2016 organised by Oman Expo, the brand was adjudged the “most trusted brand” in the automotive category in an online survey conducted by Muscat Daily.

Significantly, both the awards were decided based on the results of an online public voting process where consumers voted for their preferred brands.

In the unique Popular Car Brand award organised by Oman Expo computed through public online voting, Nissan emerged victorious in the award category in which more than 10,000 online votes polled. More than 30 brands were in the fray for this coveted category. The entire process was audited by an external agency BDO for transparency and authenticity.

During the online voting period of the survey, in which Nissan was announced the winner of Oman’s Most Trusted Brands award, a total of 189,023 votes were received.
