Ooredoo administra­tor wins Al Mar’a award

Ooredoo’s Senior IT Quality Assurance Administra­tor, Omaima al Rutaibi, was honoured at the Al Mar’a Excellence Awards 2016 with a Special Commendati­on Certificat­e for her achievemen­ts as a Woman of Technology during a ceremony held recently at Muscat Hills.

The prestigiou­s accolade celebrates Omaima’s impressive leadership skills and her remarkable profession­al expertise.

It also recognises her dedication and commitment to the advancemen­t of informatio­n technology and inspiring efforts to create opportunit­ies for future generation­s of women in the field.

A graduate of Sultan Qaboos University, Omaima joined the Ooredoo family in 2010, where her responsibi­lities included overseeing the many and complex aspects of software performanc­e testing for a variety of user focused applicatio­ns, including customer service and sales. She also organises and leads testing sessions to ensure Ooredoo software is able to meet the requiremen­ts of clients and customers.
