Draft report on human rights discussed

MUSCAT: Oman Human Rights Commission (OHRC) Office discussed at its meeting on Tuesday the first draft of the annual report on the Human Rights Conditions in the Sultanate 2016, which includes the reports, monitoring, legislation, and the efforts of government institutions and community organisations in the promotion and protection of human rights in the Sultanate during 2016.

The meeting also discussed the awareness and education programmes by delivering lectures in higher education institutions, as well as other society organisations. The office also discussed work mechanism for 2017.
