Omani talents awarded at Park Inn Muscat

MUSCAT: Park Inn Muscat Hotel has recognised the Omani staff for their loyalty, performance and gives motivation to others.

Khalifa al Siyabi has been awarded a 10 years in service certification and Mohammed al Ghusaini, PRO under Human Resource Department, has been awarded for five years in service certification.

Khalifa started his career as housekeeping attendant promoted to supervisor level. Later, he transferred to Accounts Department as bill collector.

The hotel developed him and move to Sales Department and now is the sales manager in charge of government, ministries and corporate accounts.

Mohammed was also awarded as the employee of the year 2016 heart of the house for his works for customer facing and behind the scenes staff respectively. He has been recognised for embodying everyday duties.

The criteria for nominations to the awards include parameters demonstrating an extra mile service, attitude, working as a team player, taking personal responsibility, showing enthusiasm, dedication to superior customer service and satisfaction and helping create profits for the hotel. Says Nuno Neves, General Manager: “We encourage Omanis to enter hospitality industry and Omanisation is our top priority and help them to develop their skills.”
