Zubair SEC’s ‘Tajribati’ features success stories
MUSCAT: With the aim to celebrate achievements and maintain momentum into the future, Zubair Small Enterprises Centre (Zubair SEC) ‘Tajribati’ session for January focused on sharing success stories of its members.
The ‘Tajribati’ session was attended by members, new entrepreneurs, SME owners and industry experts. The session hosted a number of Zubair SEC members who shared their experience on how small but firm steps can ensue in huge successes. The members spoke about how they overcame odds to achieve their dreams. They shed light on the importance of having a clear vision and great ambition. They reiterated on how steady steps can ensure greater successes.
Zubair SEC advisors moderated the session which emphasised on the fact that success stories can inspire greatness and that obstacles can be overcome.
Providing inspiration and motivation, Mansour Naser al Rahbi, founder of Abraj Al Zahrah Investment Company said, “it is possible to achieve success through determination, focus, hard work, and by enlisting the help of others.”
Sharing tips on turning ideas into a profitable business, Alia Abdullah al Nabhaniah, founder of Al Rawaye’ Al Shamikha Poultry Farm said, “New entrepreneurs should be ready to work very hard. While marketing is key, having trustworthy partners and mentors will take you ahead.”
Stressing on the importance of being persistent and resilient, Jameelah Hamad al Siyabiyah, founder of Wardat Al Wadi Al Wataniyah said, “entrepreneurs also have to find ways of staying relevant in an ever-evolving market.”

The ongoing ‘Tajribati’ discussion series organised by Zubair SEC, a social responsibility initiative of The Zubair Corporation, is aimed at supporting young entrepreneurs and owners of small and medium enterprises. The session provides them a platform to have dialogues and discussions with each other and with experts on topics related to business and to share best practices.
